today was the mark of history.
he offically did his conversion at 10.30am. it was a small ceremony consisting of him, my two uncles and me. my two uncles were his witnesses. we had to listen to the ustaz's speech before everything was finalised.
papers were signed. hands were shakened. uncle m congratulated and hugged him. he received a starter-kit from the ustaz. in there, was a piece of prayer mat, a compass and the translated version of the holy Quran.
it was funny to be filling up the "spouse-to-be" section of the form. something which i might get used to, in the future. i am grateful of the journey now. alhamdullilah.
