a week ago, we went down to east coast. i couldn't remember who's idea was it but i thank god that we did. our sole purpose was to meet liz. so we went there first to have our dinner at komala's.
so while i was waiting for him to come back with our order, i saw arab! and he saw me! so he came over to chat for a bit. lucky boy got what he wanted - a job in the petroleum industry that pays alot. he said, "guess what mu wanted to watch next week... backstreet boys!!"
we laughed so hard because backstreet boys used to be a craze while we were in the late teens. and now that we've grown up to twenty-plus young adults, it's funny how our late teen craze are still around in our hearts.
then he said goodbye and joined his other group of friends. it's been so long since we last met him - it was probably early 2005 or late 2004, so it was really nice to meet him.
afterwards, we sat with liz at mac's cafe. we were sitting at the outside and i saw a group of people trying to find seats on the inside. as i was watching, i suddenly saw CL and i went, "omg it's CL!" yea i was excited cuz one, he's such a nice guy to begin with and two, we haven't meet him in ages!
i managed to get his attention and he was equally excited seeing me as i seeing him, which was cool. we talked, exchanged phone numbers (cuz i got the old one, and he lost his hp and got a new number), and he said that he wanted to meet the three of us before he leave for australia.
that was the most memorable trip to east coast. i couldn't believe i bumped into 2 old friends of mine when we were there. i mean the chances are so slim especially at east coast where people don't normally go there if they don't have a car. my conclusion is that east coast is a nice place to chill out. and i'd love to go there again.
