before i start, i must inform you that this movie was like a month (or perhaps two) old. i won't be begging you to catch this movie though, but there was an incident prior to this movie that really made our day.
on that very weekday, we decided upon elizabethtown because 1. orlando bloom and 2. kristen durst. it doesn't matter how the story goes, i just wanna watch it. the bf was suppose to get the tickets at PS but he decided to get it from AXS instead. we used to get tixs from AXS and the seats given were pretty okay. in short, we TRUSTED AXS. :)
when we got to the theater, we realised that our seats were the very front row right smacked in the middle. as we got to our seats, i looked back at the vacant seats and asked the bf, "do you think we can grab one of those seats?"
i was so sure that it was full-house that day. otherwise we won't get bad seats like this. BF pulled a really long face - obviously wasn't happy with the choice of seats. we were practically looking up to the screen when we were on those seats!
"i don't feel like watching this. can we leave now?" he said, almost sounded like a small boy. "But we've already paid for it..." i tried to reason with him. to tell you the truth, i, too, wanna get out of that theater.
i told bf that we should leave before the movie starts, and go back to the ticketing counter to ask for a refund. after all, we got those tixs frm AXS and did not have the luxury to find out the vacancy of the seats for that movie. I was so determined to either, 1. get a refund 2. watch another movie, or 3. get the tix for the same movie for tomorrow.
at the counter, the lady understood our situation and she went, "urm actuallly, we have two seats reserved (two rows frm the back). i think i'll give these seats to you since the movie is going to start any time now..."
wow! that really made our day.
that was really great and we were overjoyed! thank god we stepped out of that blessed theater. we took the tixs from her and went back into the theater, with our faces beaming with so much joy. from up there, we could see some movie-goers sitting on the very front row. in a way, we 'upgraded' our seats from the bottom to the top portion. it was amazing.
TWO SATISFIED CUSTOMERS for GV PLAZA SING.
we wanted to write in to GV about this incident but we couldn't because we didn't catch the lady's name. but perhaps one day, i'll get down to writing it so that they know how good their staff are in satisfing their customers.
