it was a late start for me today. i simply couldn't be bothered to wake up so early in the morning. give me a break, it's a sunday. that is why, sometimes i hate to go for early classes at the mosque nearby. even tho' it's nearby... but it's Sunday for goodness sake... pbbffftt!
so i did all the necessary cleaning-up today but i'm still not done yet. i'm worried that i'll end up like mom becuz she's always not done with chores at home. there's always so much stuff to do.
for dinner, we went down to lau pa sat with an acquaintance i knew from the blogland. in fact, it was my first time meeting her because 1. she's not a local, 2. she's here due to work 3. she'll be going back in 2 wks' time. it was really nice. she had lots of story to tell and most of them were interesting. on top of that, the food we ordered were great.
satay, sambal stingray, kangkung, deep fried baby squid yum yum. thank god we didn't ordered la-la or su-su cuz these are one of the dishes which we were not familiar with. but i'd love to try it some day *hint-hint*
she mentioned that she'd love to find out about the history of Singapore. And i was just surfing earlier on and i thought, "why not river cruise?". that is a great idea to start with, wouldn't it? all we need to do is sit and enjoy the ride.
