coldplay before & after

i got a pair of free $70 tixs to the coldplay concert. i was definately overjoyed because initially, i thought i'll skip that. i didn't have that yearn to attend their concert. perhaps, because i stopped listening to them now, and i haven't listen to the new album as yet (even after their concert, i didn't even try to listen...)

they were here on 17 july 2006 to a 10,000-strong crowd aka sold-out concert and delivered the same quality they did back then. their performance was electrifying but the crowd around me was so bloody boring! from the looks of it, they were certainly not coldplay fans. they didn't sing along (i sang along to their older songs, ok), they didn't cheer, they didn't really clap... they just sat. and the only song they got excited to was In My Place.

(btw, the crowd we were with was mainly from STB - you know, the gays, the 30-y/o-women-who-dressed-up-like-aunties-for-a-ROCK-concert. what were they thinking? ATB's concert?)

ok ok, i shouldn't be complaining. i got free tix after all. :)

on the other hand, my bro wants to go robbie william's concert. and he wants me to pay for his tix. grrr. it's funny to know a boy who attended dreamtheater's concert, wanted to go for a robbie willaim's concert.

"fun, what", he said.

"yea yea, fun cuz you wanted me to pay for it", i said under my breathe.
