Recently, i bought 10 GV vouchers (movie) that cost me $80 in all. That's 8 per voucher. With advice from my good friend, we got the vouchers so that we can save some moolah over the weekend where the rate goes up to 8.50 per tix.
However, there's a catch - you can't use the vouchers for online / phone bookings. And, you know, whenever there's a new movie out for the weekend, it's almost impossible to get good seats on the day itself. We went twice on Saturday and Sunday, and on both days, Pirates of the Carribean tix were selling fast!
At one point, the staff had to announce the remaining tixs so that people can decide whether they wanna wait in the queue or just stop queuing up altogether. The only timing that were left were like 11.30pm or midnight shows.
I was thinking - this cannot be. I don't believe the tixs can be sold out within a day. So i approached the counter and asked "is it possible to get tixs for the next day or even, next week?"
he answered, "Yes, you can do that for tomorrow. But not for next week. Because the movie timings will only be out on Wednesday night."
"What?? we cannn??? so I can buy tix on Wednesday night for a Saturday evening show?? OMG, this is amazing! thanks so much!" i exclaimed.
so now we know... we took it for granted that we can only get tixs on that day itself. mainly because movie timings were published on newspaper daily and not for the next day. so, yea... i mean, omg look how stupid we were!

Well that's better than queuing on the day, have you used your tickets yet?
